Move-in Checklist
Welcome to Your New Home!
Congratulations on your acceptance into one of our rental properties. We're excited to welcome you to the Dolce Vita Property Management Group family.
First Month's Rent & Security Deposit
Your first month's rent and security deposit are due at the lease signing. If there are any additional fees, they are also payable at that time. Confirm the total amounts with us beforehand, as we cannot grant access to the property without full payment.
Move-in Date & Inspection
We will set your move-in date and provide any necessary inspection information during the lease signing.
Utilities
As a tenant, you are responsible for maintaining all utility accounts. Contact the utility providers immediately after taking possession of the home to transfer the accounts to your name. Delays may result in service outages or additional administrative fees.
Tenant Portal
As a tenant, you will have access to your own Tenant Portal. You will be receiving an email with the activation link. You will be able to communicate, make payments, and submit work-orders thru this portal.
Move-out Checklist
We hope you've enjoyed your stay with us and wish you the best in your future endeavors. Please review the following steps to ensure a smooth move-out process:
Notice of Intent to Vacate
Provide a written 30-day notice of your intent to vacate, allowing us sufficient time to prepare for the next tenant.
Property Condition
Ensure the rental home is returned in its original condition:
**Cleaning: Remove all personal belongings and thoroughly clean each room, with special attention to bathrooms and kitchen areas.
**Landscaping & Outdoor Areas: If applicable, perform any necessary landscaping and outdoor chores before you leave. Make sure all patios are clean and free of debris & personal belongings.
**Repairs: Address any damage that occurred during your stay, such as patching holes, repainting, replacing burnt out light bulbs, and repairing broken items.
Security Deposit
Your security deposit protects against any potential damages during your stay. After you move out, we will conduct a final inspection. Any necessary repairs will be deducted from your deposit, and the remainder, along with an itemized statement, will be returned to you promptly. Please make sure to provide a forwarding address where your Statement of Deposit can be mailed to.
